[July 22nd (Wed)] MEDISO Seminar Series ~Fundraising Methods for Medical Ventures~ Vol. 24: VC Support for Startups and the Cutting Edge of Company Creation
The 24th MEDISO Seminar will focus on corporate support by venture capitalists (VCs), with Mr. Atsushi Usami, Director and Partner at the University of Tokyo Edge Capital Partners (UTEC) and a MEDISO supporter, discussing VC support for startups (SUs), SU investment, and criteria for company creation.
Additionally, Mr. Nobuyuki Arakawa, Co-founder and CEO of Cereido Therapeutics Co., Ltd., and Mr. Kenji Kishi, Head of Japan Operations at EpiFrontier Therapeutics LLC, will introduce their respective companies and explain how to utilize the AMED-certified VC system.
Furthermore, we will hold a panel discussion with the MEDISO Secretariat and MEDISO's Chief Producer and General Ambassador, Akihiko Soyama, on topics such as how to utilize support from venture capital firms and how to make use of the AMED-certified venture capital system.
This seminar is a must-see for startups that are about to embark on activities to secure investment from venture capital, or those that are already working on it but are still figuring things out!
