Medical-Engineering Collaboration Seminar: "Entering the Medical Device Field and Practicing Medical-Engineering Collaboration"

There is much to learn from case studies when entering the medical device field or engaging in medical-engineering collaboration.
In this seminar, representatives from both medical device manufacturers and manufacturing companies will share practical insights into medical device development, including actual development processes and innovative approaches that leverage their respective strengths.
Takayoshi Miura, President and CEO of Orion Radsafe Medical Co., Ltd., will discuss the development of an "MRI susceptibility correction device" that originated from a clinical needs matching meeting. He will explain the challenges faced during the development process and the ingenuity used to overcome them, including "how to grasp the true needs of the medical field," "collecting feedback on prototypes and making improvements using exhibitions," and "designing a product that balances reducing patient burden with ease of use in the field."
Mr. Yuzo Asano, Senior Managing Director of Shimura Seiki Seisakusho Co., Ltd., will introduce the company's challenges in significantly increasing its overseas sales ratio by leveraging its high-precision cutting technology.
This session will cover practical strategies for manufacturing companies to enter the global medical device market and achieve business success, including "utilizing overseas trade shows," "overcoming differences in domestic and international business practices," and "establishing quality control systems to facilitate direct transactions."
