Medical-Engineering Collaboration Seminar: "Case Studies of Utilizing Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Support Framework"

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government provides multifaceted support to companies aiming to enter or expand their business in the medical device industry through collaboration between medical and engineering sectors. The support menu is extensive, encompassing clinical needs identification, consultation on pharmaceutical and intellectual property laws, development subsidies, various evaluations and tests, and equipment utilization. All of these services can be used to address the diverse challenges faced at each phase of medical device development. Utilizing this support according to the project's progress is an effective means for small and medium-sized enterprises to maximize their resources and achieve success in the medical device business.
This seminar will bring together representatives from three organizations in Tokyo that support medical device development through collaboration between medicine and engineering: the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Promotion Agency, the Tokyo Metropolitan Industrial Technology Research Institute, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Medical-Engineering Collaboration HUB Organization. The seminar will comprehensively introduce the support programs offered by each organization and systematically explain how the metropolitan government's support backs commercialization and provides concrete ways to utilize it.
Companies interested in learning more about the overall picture of support provided by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and examples of its use are encouraged to participate.
